Rules

Only non-FAC (less than 12 ft lbs) air rifles & air pistols (less than 6 ft lbs) can be used in the club.

  • You must comply with all firearms laws in regard to age & permissions when using the range.

  • Do not shoot if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that may effect your judgement.

  • No live quarry to be shot at.

  • NEVER leave your gun unattended.

  • When not is use, all guns must be unloaded and secured in a cover, slip or carry case.

  • No guns are allowed past the car park unless they are in a slip or carry case.

  • Customers who bring their own refill cylinders are required to store them in their car whilst not being used. Top ups are available free of charge at the club.

  • All users of the club must sign-in each visit & confirm their age.

  • Any user who wilfully disobeys, violates or does not comply with any of the General or Safety rules of the range will be asked to stop shooting and leave the club.

  • Please be advised that if any Air Rifles are Jammed to a state they can not be de-jammed and have to be stripped down there will be a £50 fee to pay.


Safety

Safety – Your rifle or pistol must always be kept pointing in a safe direction I.E. downrange, you must NOT under any circumstances point it at a person.

  • Always treat the weapon as loaded.

  • Never leave your weapon unattended.

  • Check your weapon is unloaded and the magazine is removed prior to coming off the firing point.

  • Don’t shoot any animals that may stray onto the range. We have our own Range cats so please be aware.

  • Please treat the equipment as though it is your own. Any Air Rifles jammed to excess there will be a £50 fee to pay to repair the Rifle no replacement Rifle will be offered.

  • Ensure any damage to filling or club facilities is reported immediately.

  • Any deliberate damage caused will incur a repair or replacement charge of £50 which you agree to pay.

  • Please leave the firing point in a clean and tidy state and use the bins provided.

  • Always respect other club users! We are all here for the same thing, to have fun in a safe and friendly environment.

  • Foul behaviour and abusive language towards club users and staff members will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave, and no refund will be given

  • Smoking or vaping is only allowed outside in the carpark area. Please put your cigarette butts in the metal bin located in the car park and ensure it is fully extinguished.

  • You agree to report anyone not abiding by any of these rules and or endangers any range user.
